Friends of Uplands Park Society (FOUP) are partnering with CICADA, an entomologist club at the University of Victoria, to put on the 4th Insect Bioblitz in Uplands Park. The event will be held the weekend of June 20 to 22, 2025. Hoping you can attend and record your photo findings on iNaturalist.
There will be an information and refreshment area with some chairs, in the Beach Drive field at the entrance to Cattle Point from 1 to 3:30 on Sunday, as well as a Bug Walk led by UVic students from 1 to 3pm. Join us for a relaxing chat. There will also be an experts only night excursion to do light sheet collecting from 10 pm to midnight on Saturday.
